Crypto golden crosses today

A golden cross is when a coin's 60-day average price climbs above its 125-day average. A death cross is the opposite. The Rotator crypto board checks about 290 Binance coins after every daily close, and this page counts the crosses and shows how well past ones actually did.

Has a golden cross worked?

We tested it. Over 771 days of Binance coins, every coin with a fresh golden cross was compared with the typical coin on the same days (the one in the middle: half the market did better, half did worse). If the cross meant nothing, it would beat the market about half the time, like a coin flip.

What that means: on its own, a golden cross has not been a reliable buy sign: after a week it did no better than chance. And a death cross was not a warning: those coins did slightly better than the market a month later. Treat a cross as one fact about a coin, not as a reason to trade. Measured 26 Sep 2026.

How Rotator counts a cross

Only completed daily candles count, so a cross can't appear and vanish within the same day. The averages are simple 60-day and 125-day closing-price averages (not the 50/200 pair some sites use), and those are the ones we tested above. The full record of every signal Rotator has called is on the track record page.
